Tutorial to create a decorative element on a scrapbooking album with embossing technique (embossed powders).

PREPARATION: necessary for the embossing technique are the embossing powder, l’ embosser (hot air to melt the powder), a inkpad invisible or in color as long as slow drying, stamps, paper, .. and your imagination. This technique is very simple to use and it is possible to create cards, greeting cards and much more.

Pass the swab over the stamp by tapping it.

Stamp the paper you want to decorate by pressing so as to match the figure perfectly to the paper.

Immediately cover the figure made with the stamp with embossing powder. The powder will remain glued to the ink still wet.

Clean the excess dust and dry the resulting figure with the embosser. The dust will dissolve in seconds.

The figure shows the result after drying. The loose powder (in this case powder color and silver effect) has created a relief along the strokes created by the ink of the stamp. There are many types of powder, fine or very fine grain, different colors and effects.

Now cut out some paper to decorate our scrapbooking album. In this case, rice paper to be used as a background for our survey. For an extra artistic touch you can paint the cover with acrylic colors, we will leave the recycled paper effect.

Glue the paper on your album with double-sided tape or point glue.

Now with some other stamps we call our album. Stamps large and small and with various fonts can be found on the market. (go to the alphabet letter stamps category HERE)

Add decorations as you like like ribbons or embellishments and the album is done.
